Wow-wee just got back from my first ever book launch and book signing for Bridal Moments. Held it at the Manchester Central Library it was amazing. I was nervous as hell to begin with but after sitting down at the front of the room and looking at all the eager faces staring back at me, I realised I wasn't there for a maths exam. People were genuinely interested. It was more of an informal chat than a grilling. I read a bit from the book and people laughed in the right places (thank god) and then answered a couple of questions. It went rather well - and was made a lot easier with the help of Libby Tempest from the library - who was fab and has great hair. My sister attempted to film the whole thing but just managed to take some great photos of her shoes!
Other highlights of the day was being interviewed by Radio Manchester and getting a crafty kiss from the lovely Leon from Butlers in the Buff. Off to drink some fizz.
